Bringing stories to life
I help filmmakers, production companies, and other creatives bring ambitious stories to life, on time and on budget, without losing the spark of creativity that made the project worth pursuing in the first place. I bring a big bag of tools to my producing endeavor: an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler, a Producing Certificate from UCLA Extension, ten-plus years of experience across a variety of roles in film, theatre, photography, and content production, and even experience on the development side, reading scripts for clients like Amazon Studios.
I’m based in New Orleans and work locally, remotely, and on the road when needed. I’d love to hear about your project. Please reach out, and let’s talk about where I might be able to fill in the gaps to get your project all the way through execution to audiences on the other side!

Why work with me?
Before I made a big left turn into the entertainment industry, I worked on large-scale construction projects (bridges) and consulted for Fortune 500 companies, earning a BSc in Civil Engineering and an MBA along the way. When I first moved to Los Angeles, I earned a Certificate in Producing for Film, TV, and New Media from UCLA Extension. For several years in LA, I teamed on crews as an assistant director, production manager, and producer; I also read and analyzed scripts for agencies and studios.
In addition to the roles I’ve held behind-the-scenes, I’m a creator myself… a writer and visual storyteller (actor, photographer, film director). So I know how important it is to protect and nurture a creative vision so it doesn’t get lost in the trenches of production. This combo of technical and creative experience across industries means I can solve a wide variety of complex production challenges while keeping your project on track creatively as well. And over the years, I’ve collaborated on projects from zero-budget shorts to feature films, so I understand what it takes to succeed at every scale.
Who I work with
Independent filmmakers who need a partner to get their vision from script to screen
Production companies looking for steady hands-on management to keep shoots running smoothly
Digital content creators who want to raise production value without blowing up the budget
Theatre companies that need a producer who cares about both story and logistics
Brands and agencies seeking a creative partner who can develop a compelling story that sells
Project development and strategy
Sometimes you need an end-to-end producing partner. Sometimes you need a clear-eyed check on your script, budget, or pitch. I can come in early, when you have an idea and need help developing it, or later, when you have a script and want to build a plan that will carry it all the way to the right audience.
Core Services:
- Story development and script analysis
- Project evaluation and feasibility planning
- Budget planning and financial modeling
- Production timeline development
- Team building and resource planning
- Distribution and basic marketing strategy
Quick-Turnaround Services:
For smaller projects or early-stage work where you just need focused help:
- Script coverage and feedback
- Pitch deck creation
- Budget consultations
- Strategy sessions
Investment Ranges:
- Strategy sessions: 150–300 USD (1–2 hours)
- Script coverage: 200–500 USD (length-dependent)
- Pitch deck creation: 750–1,500 USD
- Project development consulting: 1,500–5,000 USD (scope-dependent)
Rates adjust based on budget, timeline, and complexity. I offer sliding-scale pricing for nonprofits, student filmmakers, and first-time directors. If you have a project you care about, we can talk honestly about what is possible within your resources.
Production management
On set, my job as a producer or production services provider is, above all, to help the director and department heads do their best work without the whole thing falling off the rails when a problem comes along. Among other things, I handle planning, scheduling, communication, and logistics so the creative work can stay front and center.
Full Production Management:
- Budget management and cost control
- Schedule creation and coordination
- Team leadership and communication
- Resource allocation and on-the-ground logistics
- Quality control and delivery management
- Post-production oversight and follow-through
Day rates for production management usually fall between 600 and 1,200 USD, depending on scope, budget, and scale. For some projects, a project fee or hybrid model makes more sense; I’m open to finding the structure that fits the work.
How I work
Every project starts in the same place: what you are trying to make, who it is for, and what constraints we are working with. From there, we build a plan that protects the heart of the story while staying honest about time, money, and reality.
My process emphasizes:
- Story first
- Clear communication
- Practical problem-solving
- Smart creative risks
- Respect for the budget
- Solid delivery
- Empowered teams, not burned-out crews

Serving the New Orleans film community
New Orleans is my home base nowadays, and I love working with local filmmakers, production companies, and creative teams in Louisiana, no matter where the team originates from (I’m comfortable working together remotely if needed). With Louisiana’s enhanced 40 percent film tax credit and no per-project caps, your production dollar can stretch further here than in most places in the U.S. I can help you think through how to use those incentives in a way that best supports the needs of your stakeholders.
I’m available for work in and around New Orleans, for remote development and consulting, and for travel when the project calls for it.
Collaborations and partnerships
Not every connection starts with a formal scope of work. I’m always interested in meeting other people who care about story and craft. If you are a filmmaker, writer, DP, editor, theatre company, agency, brand, or some mix of all of the above, I’m open to conversations about collaboration.
I’ve worked with:
- Independent filmmakers and production companies
