Fiction Writing
Literary Novel – “White Fawn”
Complete / Genre: Literary Historical Fiction with Magical Realism / Length: 90,000 words
Set in Civil War-era Eastern North Carolina, this coming-of-age novel follows a boy navigating a world where survival and morality collide. Blending documented history with subtle magical realism in the tradition of Isabel Allende and Gabriel García Márquez—and echoing the stark lyricism of Cormac McCarthy—White Fawn explores what moral courage requires when every choice carries consequences that ripple across the boundary between life and death.
Status: Complete manuscript, currently in submission to literary agents for traditional publishing.
Short Fiction – “The Lightning Jar”

On a drought-ridden summer night, a father and son’s simple quest to catch fireflies becomes a haunting meditation on childhood innocence and the quiet fractures within a family.
